Our Story
Natasha and Shameel first crossed paths in 2021 at a party hosted by Shameel’s oldest brother and his wife. Though their first meeting was brief, destiny reunited them at Christmas 2022. This time, sparks flew.

Despite living miles apart—Natasha in Toronto and Shameel in Kitchener—their relationship blossomed quickly. In 2023 alone, they witnessed the sunrise together in Bali, snowboarded down mountains across Canada, and admired a sky full of hot air balloons in Turkey.
Though opposites in many ways, they found common ground in what truly mattered—shared family values, a matching sense of humor, and a vision for a future they can build together. As the first step to building that future, Natasha moved to Kitchener to be closer to Shameel and his family.

In 2024, Shameel brought their love story full circle when he proposed to Natasha at the same restaurant where they had their first date. The two could not be more thrilled to start the next chapter of their lives as husband and wife.
